 Description
: The Slatts are made from high quality
plastic and provide clean and healthier
environment, reduce the risk of bird injury and
disease and permits higher yield. For broiler
Breeders the area required is 2.25 per sq.ft.

Installation :
The 15"x30" plastic slatts are light
weight and handy. They can be fitted with 1"x"
and 1.1/4"x1.1/4" angle. The side walls should
have windows to ensure proper ventialtion,
needed for quick manure drying. After the cycle
is over, the slatts can be taken out at few
places and manure can be removed easily.
Alternatively, the shed may be a raised one,
with the floor raised to about 6ft to 7ft, where
the difference between the slatt and deep litter
is about one foot. Generally, 2/3rd slatt and
1/3rd deep litter are kept in poultry shed. |
